We test for you, our guests!

Our young and creative reception team puts its heart and soul into its work and is always looking for new ideas to offer our guests an even better service. During a fun "teambuilding event", various activities were tested for our guests.

On the road in Vienna!

Striving for guest satisfaction is crucial to the success of any business in the hospitality industry. That's why we decided to test activities for every age group. We started with a wonderful sightseeing tour of Vienna by Big Bus. A sightseeing tour of Vienna offers the opportunity to discover the rich history, magnificent architecture and cultural diversity of this fascinating city. The boarding point for Big Bus buses is right next to the Giant Ferris Wheel on Ausstellungsstraße near the Prater. Just a few minutes' walk from the hotel. There are various routes, so you can choose the one that suits you best, depending on your interests.

Sights of Vienna

We took a trip along the famous Ringstrasse, which is lined with many historic buildings. Here our team was able to admire the Vienna City Hall, the Vienna State Opera, the Parliament, the University of Vienna and the Burgtheater. We ended the tour back at the Prater, a large park famous for the Vienna Giant Ferris Wheel. A ride on the Ferris wheel offers a great view of the city. This city tour is just one of many ways to explore Vienna.

Hungry & thirsty ;-)

After this great tour through Vienna, we got hungry and took the opportunity to try out a wonderful restaurant near the hotel for you. The DaRose restaurant is a 10-minute walk from the hotel. It is one of the first restaurants in Vienna where there is no lack of entertainment. There was an incredible selection of food and drinks. We were surprised by the DaRose team and were able to enjoy delicious 3-course menus. Accompanied by relaxing music and a super attentive service team, the afternoon was a great event for our team.

Christmas markets

Well fortified, we then set off on a walk towards the city center. The wonderful Christmas lights on Rotenturmstrasse, Kärntner Strasse and Graben are really worth seeing. What would Vienna be in December without Christmas markets? The smell of punch and sweet treats is of course very tempting and we had no choice but to make a detour to the Christmas market on Karlsplatz despite our full stomachs. The view of the illuminated Karlskirche is definitely worth a visit.

Drinks are always good!

The team thought to themselves, what would our guests be missing after such an eventful day? A cocktail! Our way through the small streets of Vienna's city center led us to Schwedenplatz, where we came across an interesting bar: The Toga Vienna. With all the different and above all unusual cocktails on offer, it was difficult to make a decision. We were positively impressed by the bar because it is really creative and the walk from Schwedenplatz to the hotel bed is very short. We hope that we were able to give you a few suggestions for your next visit to Vienna and we look forward to sharing our experiences with you in person soon.

Kind regards
Your Team of Austria Classic Hotel Wien
