Dear guests! My name is Anna and I have been working as a receptionist at the Austria Classic Hotel Vienna since 1989. Today I am taking you to the Spittelberg Christmas market!
The Christmas market on Spittelberg in Vienna's 7th district exudes a particularly romantic atmosphere. In the midst of the winding alleys and Biedermeier houses, you feel like you've been transported to a previous century. All local shops present themselves in a Christmassy way and offer wonderful gift ideas at the highest level, such as the atelierjan | AtelierJan the finest leather handicrafts or the Zum Blauen Igel, where you will find fragrant organic soaps, such as the famous Marseille soap and many others, and a large number of organic plant waters and essential, single-origin oils.
You can really enjoy Advent and look forward to Christmas when you walk past the many Christmas stalls that are lined up in Gutenberggasse, Spittelberggasse, Schrankgasse and Stiftgasse. The spectrum ranges from ceramics and jewelery to candles and woolen goods, to name just a few.
The alleyways smell of numerous culinary delicacies such as potato pancakes, raclette bread or freshly prepared langos! Also during the Advent season, at the very beginning of Spittelberggasse, Burggasse Coming on the left hand side, the international chocolate manufacturer Braun, which offers many different chocolate brands. Your heart will definitely melt there! Wherever you look, you will enjoy the finest chocolate delicacies!
Almost visàvis I recommend the punch at the Boheme restaurant on Spittelberg 1070 Vienna. In front of the restaurant on the stand you can choose from numerous types of punch. I tried the Amaretto Kirsch, which I liked very much. Dear guests - make your way to the Spittelberg (you don't have to climb a mountain to do it) and immerse yourself in a very special Christmas market. You still have the opportunity to do so until December 23, 2022!
Your Anna wishes you lots of fun!
