A
ACCESSIBLE VACATION: Is the hotel accessible?
All areas of our hotel are wheelchair accessible—with the exception of the sauna, the fitness room, and the terrace on the first floor.
We also offer two rooms designed to meet the specific needs of guests with special requirements.
ADAPTER: Where can I get a power adapter for my devices?
You can obtain a suitable adapter at the front desk for a small deposit.
AIR CONDITIONING: Are the rooms air-conditioned?
We would like to inform you that we use two separate systems for heating and cooling.
During the cooler months, the radiator in your room heats the air, and when the outside temperature reaches 25°C, we turn on the air conditioner, which is designed exclusively for cooling.
Please be mindful of the environment and close the window(s) when the air conditioner is running.
AIRPORT: What's the best way to get to Vienna International Airport?
We recommend using public transportation to and from the airport.
A rapid transit train departs every 30 minutes from the nearby “Praterstern” station to the airport.
Of course, we can also arrange airport transfers at fixed rates.
ARRIVAL: What is the best way to get to the hotel?
Your Austria Classic Hotel Wien is centrally located and easily accessible in the heart of Vienna. We recommend traveling in an eco-friendly way by train or bicycle.
Arriving by train: From Vienna Central Station, take the U1 subway line and get off at the “Nestroyplatz” stop after 7 minutes. The hotel is about a 400-meter walk from there.
Arriving by bike: You can safely park your bike in our great bike garage. If you’re riding a manual bike, we’ll give you a free drink as a thank-you for your “green” journey.
Arriving by bus: From the Vienna International Bus Terminal (VIB) in Erdberg, take the U3 to the “Stephansplatz” stop, transfer to the U1 there, and ride to “Nestroyplatz.” From there, it’s a 400-meter walk.
Arriving by car: Enter the address of our entrance, “Czerningasse 29, 1020 Vienna,” into your GPS. You’ll arrive directly at our parking lot and can enter the hotel through the courtyard entrance.
Arriving by plane: From Schwechat Airport, you can reach the “Praterstern” stop directly via the S7 rapid transit line in 35 minutes. From there, it’s a 400-meter walk

BABY BEDS: Does the hotel provide baby beds?
We are happy to provide these free of charge for your little ones.
Please note that this is not available in all room categories. We would be happy to advise you on this matter and ask that you let us know of this request when you make your reservation.
BAGGAGE CLAIM: Who can help me carry my suitcase to my room?
If you need assistance with baggage claim, simply call the front desk (press 9 on your room phone).
BANK/ATM: Where can I withdraw cash or visit a bank?
You’ll find a branch of “Bawag PSK” at Lassallestraße 38 and a branch of “Erste Bank” at Taborstraße 26.
Hours:
Monday–Friday, 9:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m. ATMs are located just to the right of the hotel and in supermarkets.
BAR: Is there a bar at the hotel for the evening?
We recommend our café-bar, “Max Steiner,” located next to the front desk.
We’d be happy to serve you drinks there. You can pay for them on the spot or have them charged to your room.
BATHROBE: Can I borrow a bathrobe during my stay?
We are happy to provide this for you free of charge.
We would be happy to advise you on this matter and ask that you let us know of your request when you make your reservation.
BATH SLIPPERS (hotel slippers / bath slippers / house shoes): Are bath slippers available for the wellness area?
We are happy to provide you with free, eco-friendly hotel slippers at the front desk. Since sustainability is important to us, we only provide these upon request to help reduce our environmental impact.
BIKE: Is there a secure place to park my bike?
We offer a bicycle garage in the hotel courtyard where you can store your bike for free.
You can also rent bicycles at affordable prices in Vienna.
BREAKFAST: When and where can I have breakfast?
A generous breakfast buffet is served daily from 6:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. in the breakfast room on the ground floor. When the weather is nice, the terrace is also open starting at 7:30 a.m. If you need gluten-free bread or lactose-free milk, please contact the service team.
Please bring your room key and show it to our service staff.
BUSINESS CORNER: Where can I print documents or boarding passes?
You’ll find our Business Corner in the entrance area, across from the reception desk.
Here you’ll also find an internet kiosk with a printer that you can use at any time to print your boarding passes or documents. For security reasons, there is no USB port.

CHECK-IN: When can I check into my room?
Your room will be ready for you on the day of your arrival starting at 2:00 PM.
Subject to availability and for a small fee, you are welcome to check in earlier.
Please present a valid ID or passport upon arrival. You are welcome to store your luggage free of charge in the luggage storage area until your room is ready, so you can explore Vienna. Our front desk will be happy to provide you with a city map and initial information.
Five days before your arrival, you will receive a message from us with the option to submit all your details in advance. Please use this “Smart Check-In” feature, and upon arrival, you will only need to confirm your details with your signature.
CHECK-OUT: By what time do I need to vacate the room on the day of departure?
You are welcome to keep your room until 11:00 a.m. on the day of departure. If you would like to stay longer, please contact the front desk (“late check-out”). You can store your luggage free of charge in our luggage storage area. We are happy to keep your valuables for you at the front desk.
P.S.: Guests who book directly with us can keep their room until 12:00 p.m. free of charge.
CITY TOURS: Can I book a city tour of Vienna through the hotel?
City tours can be booked at the front desk at any time.
The front desk staff will be happy to provide you with details and prices.
COFFEE MAKER: Is there a coffee maker in my room?
All of our premium rooms are equipped with a high-quality Nespresso coffee machine.
Additional capsules are available at the front desk for a fee.
CONCERT TICKETS: Where can I book tickets for events in Vienna?
Whether it's an opera, musical, play, or concert—our front desk team will be happy to help you arrange tickets.
CREDIT CARDS: Which cards are accepted at the hotel?
We accept American Express, Visa, Diners Club, Mastercard, V-Pay, JCB, and Maestro (debit card).

DEPOSIT: How does the deposit work for rented items?
We would like to inform you that Austria has a deposit system for beverage bottles and cans. You can return your beverage containers at any supermarket.
Alternatively, we ask that you place bottles and cans—undamaged—in the recycling stations next to the elevator or in the parking lot, or simply leave them in your room.
After checkout, bottles left in the room are considered no longer needed and will be collected by the housekeeping team. The proceeds from the deposits will benefit our employees for a team event and will not be refunded to guests.

DOCTOR: What should I do if I need medical help?
In that case, please contact the front desk staff directly; they will assist you right away.
DOGS / PETS: Are pets allowed?
Yes, pets are welcome at the hotel;
there is a fee for accommodating them in the room (per night, excluding meals);
for hygiene reasons, pets are not allowed in the breakfast area.

ELECTRIC CHARGING STATION: Can I charge my electric car at the hotel?
We are the proud owners of two Tesla electric charging stations (up to 11 kW).
Do you own a Tesla or another electric vehicle? If you stay with us, you are welcome to use this service during your stay (subject to availability).
The charging stations are located in our courtyard.
EMERGENCY EXITS / EMERGENCIES: What should I do in an emergency?
The emergency exits and evacuation routes are marked on the inside of your room door. In case of an emergency, please contact the front desk immediately by pressing 9 on the phone.

FIAKER: Can I book a horse-drawn carriage ride through Vienna?
Yes, the front desk will be happy to provide you with details and prices and will book the horse-drawn carriage ride for you.
FIRE EXTINGUISHERS: Where can I find a fire extinguisher in an emergency?
Fire extinguishers are located at regular intervals throughout the building;
please refer to the map in your room (on the inside of the door) for their locations;
if you suspect a fire, please call the front desk immediately (press 9 on the phone).
FITNESS ROOM & SAUNA: How can I use the wellness area?
The sauna, fitness room, and relaxation room are available to you free of charge and can be easily accessed from the first floor: simply follow the signs past Room 152 and go down the stairs.
If you would like to use the sauna, please notify the front desk 30 minutes in advance. Bathrobes, towels, and hotel slippers are also available at the front desk.

Sauna 16:00 to 22:00.
FIRE SAFETY: What should I do in case of a fire?
You can find the evacuation routes and the locations of the fire safety equipment on the floor plan in your room (on the inside of the door). Please note that smoking is prohibited throughout the hotel.

GARAGES: Does the hotel offer parking, and how much does it cost?
The price for a garage is €15 per night per vehicle (guests who do not book directly with us pay €25 per night per vehicle).
The hotel assumes no liability for theft or damage, nor for items left in a parked vehicle.
GIFT CERTIFICATE: Can I give a hotel stay as a gift?
Yes, the hotel is happy to issue personalized gift certificates. Please contact the front desk team.

HAIR SALON: Are there any good hair salons nearby?
Yes, “I.N. Rothen Hair Studio & Coffee Bar” (Praterstrasse 33) and “New Style by Dali” (Praterstrasse 45) are only about a 5-minute walk from the hotel.
HOTEL SLIPPERS (slippers / bath slippers): Does the hotel provide slippers for guests?
We are happy to provide you with free, eco-friendly hotel slippers at the front desk. Since sustainability is important to us, we only provide these upon request to help reduce our environmental impact.
HOUSEKEEPING: When will my room be cleaned, and what is the “green option”?
Please note that our housekeeping staff will first clean the rooms assigned to newly arriving guests.
If you would like your room cleaned by a specific time, please inform our front desk team (Tel. 9) and our housekeeper will take care of it immediately.
If you do not wish to be disturbed, please hang the “Do Not Disturb” sign on the outside of your room door. If you hang the “Green Option” tag on your room door, you are making an environmentally conscious choice to forgo room cleaning. As a thank you, 1 euro per day will be donated to a reforestation project, and our team will personally plant the saplings.

ICE CUBES: Where can I get ice cubes for my drinks?
Ice cubes are available at the hotel bar. Please simply ask the front desk staff.
INTERNET: How do I connect to the hotel's free Wi-Fi?
We offer free Wi-Fi throughout the hotel. Here’s how it works:
1. Select “Freewave” as your Wi-Fi network
2. Open your web browser – the welcome page will appear
3. Click “Connect” – that’s it!

INTERNET TERMINAL WITH PRINTER: Where can I find a computer with a printer to print documents or boarding passes?
It is located in our Business Lounge in the entrance area. You can use it at any time to print your boarding passes or documents (the cost is EUR 0.20 per page). For security reasons, there is no USB port.
IRONING: Is there a way to iron my clothes?
There is a separate room with an iron and ironing board on the 2nd floor (past room 252). You can access this room using your key card.

JOGGING: Where can I find a good running route near the hotel?
The nearby Prater offers one of the best and longest running routes in Vienna. Both beginners and avid joggers will find something to suit their needs here. Feel free to ask at the front desk for the quickest route to the Green Prater!

LATE CHECK-OUT: Is it possible to stay in the room longer on the day of departure?
You are welcome to keep your room until 11:00 a.m. on the day of departure. If you would like to stay longer, please contact the front desk to arrange a late check-out. Guests who book directly with us can even keep their room until 12:00 p.m. at no extra charge.
LAUNDRY SERVICE / DRY CLEANING: Does the hotel offer a laundry service, and how quickly will I get my clothes back?
Laundry service / dry cleaning is available Monday through Friday. Laundry bags and price lists are available at the front desk; if you drop off your laundry at the front desk by 8:00 a.m. (or, better yet, the night before), it will be returned the same day by approximately 7:00 p.m.

PARKING: Where can I park my car?
During your stay, you are welcome to use the unguarded parking lot in the courtyard (subject to availability). The hotel assumes no liability for theft or damage, nor for any items left in a vehicle parked in the lot.
Please provide your license plate number at the front desk or place a parking ticket (available at the front desk) in a clearly visible spot behind your car’s windshield.
If you park in front of a garage, please be sure to leave your car keys at the front desk.

PAYMENT: What payment options does the hotel offer?
We accept all major credit and debit cards, as well as cash in euros.
You are welcome to settle your bill the evening before your departure. If you require a specific billing address, please let us know at check-in.
We will issue your bill accordingly and will be happy to send it to you via email.
PHARMACY: Where is the nearest pharmacy?
The “Zur Alten Jägerzeile” pharmacy is located 70 meters to the left of the hotel.

Yes, the front desk staff will be happy to make photocopies for you. There is a small fee of 0.20 euros per copy.
PILLOW / HEADREST: Can I get a different pillow if the one provided doesn't fit?
You're welcome! If you need a different pillow, just let the staff know. We always do our best to make your stay as comfortable as possible.
POST: Where can I drop off my vacation mail?
The nearest post office is located at Weintraubengasse 22.

There is a mailbox just 3 meters to the right of the hotel entrance.
POWER OUTLETS: What is the voltage of the outlets in the room, and where can I get an adapter?

PUBLIC TRANSPORT: Where can I buy tickets for public transport?
Tickets for public transportation are available at all tobacco shops and directly from the ticket machines at every subway station.
You can obtain the “Vienna City Card” at the front desk.

RADIO: How can I listen to the radio in my room?
Starting with channel 145, you'll find numerous radio stations on your TV.
In the “TV & Radio” menu on your TV, you'll find a list of stations sorted by language.
RESTAURANT: Can you recommend any nearby restaurants for dinner or a late-night snack?
You’ll find many restaurants in the area serving Viennese and international cuisine. We’ve compiled a few links for you below, and our front desk team will be happy to offer personalized recommendations and make a reservation for you!
For a late-night snack, we recommend MAT’s sausage stand, just around the corner. It’s open until 4 a.m., and you’ll often meet some very interesting people there in the early hours of the morning.
RECEPTION: When is the reception desk staffed, and how can I reach them?
The front desk is staffed 24 hours a day. We are happy to answer any questions you may have about your stay in Vienna and are here to assist you in any way we can.

REVIEWS: Where can I leave feedback about my stay?
Our goal is for you to feel at home with us and to find a second home in our hotel. We would be delighted if you would share your positive experiences with other travelers by leaving an online review. If, for any reason, something is not to your satisfaction, we kindly ask that you let us know during your stay. Only then can you give us the opportunity to improve the situation. Unfortunately, once you have checked out, it is too late for both you and us.
For example, do you need a different pillow? Would you like a larger room? Please speak with us. We are happy to listen to you and will do our best to make your stay with us as enjoyable as possible.

SAFE / VALUABLES: How can I keep my valuables safe, and how does the in-room safe work?
Your room is equipped with a private in-room safe, which you may use free of charge. We ask that you deposit any valuables worth more than €550 directly at the front desk for safekeeping.
Locking the safe with a code:
Close the safe door, enter your personal 6-digit code, press the # key, and the safe will lock automatically.
Opening the safe with a code:
Enter your 6-digit code, and the safe will open automatically.
Closing and opening the safe with a credit card:
Slowly swipe your credit card through the designated slot as shown in the illustration.
If the display shows “Hold,” the code was entered incorrectly and the safe will remain locked for 15 minutes. If the safe still cannot be opened after that, please contact the front desk (press 9 on the phone) and our in-house technician will take care of it. We ask that you leave the safe unlocked on the day of your departure!
SAUNA & FITNESS ROOM: Where is the wellness area, and what do I need to keep in mind when using it?
The sauna and the adjacent fitness and relaxation room are available to our guests free of charge. Your key card grants you access to the sauna and fitness room.
Access: Please follow the signs on the 1st floor to the staircase leading to Room 152.
Opening hours: from 4 p.m. to 10 p.m. If you would like to use the sauna, please notify the front desk at least 30 minutes in advance (Tel. 9).
Bathrobes and guest slippers are available for free at the front desk. Please observe the sauna rules for your own safety! After using the sauna, please place your towels in the laundry basket directly in front of the changing room in the sauna area; you may keep the loaner bathrobe for the duration of your stay, and upon departure, please return it along with the bag to the front desk.
SCALES: Where can I weigh myself or my luggage for the trip home?
You’ll find a bathroom scale in the lobby near the shoe-shining machine.
To weigh your suitcase, we have a special luggage scale available from the front desk staff.
SEWING: What should I do if a button is missing from my clothes?
If needed, you can easily pick up a small sewing kit at the front desk.
SHOE HORN: Is there a shoe horn in the room?
A shoehorn is provided in the room.
SHOE CLEANER (AUTOMATIC): Where can I clean my shoes?
There is a shoe-shining machine in the lobby.
SMOKING: Is smoking allowed in the hotel or in the room?
Please note that smoking is not permitted anywhere in the hotel or on the rooftop terrace.
If smoking occurs in the room, a damage fee of at least €200 per day will be charged. If the smoke detector is triggered by smoking or other smoke in the hotel, you will be responsible for costs of approximately €700 or more for the fire department’s response.
You are welcome to smoke in the designated area in our hotel’s courtyard (right next to the tree) and, after breakfast, on our terrace in the hotel courtyard.
SNACKS: Where can I get a snack at the hotel?
For a quick bite (the traditional Austrian “Jause”), sweet and savory snacks are available at the front desk 24 hours a day.
SPORTS: What sports facilities are available in and around the hotel?
Sports enthusiasts are in good hands here!
The Prater offers one of Vienna’s best and longest running routes, where both beginners and avid joggers will find what they’re looking for. Vienna’s largest outdoor swimming pool, the Stadionbad, is just a 15-minute walk away.
Just 4 minutes away, you’ll find the WienMobil bike station, where you can rent a bike at an affordable price.
Our small fitness room is available to you free of charge.
If you need “more,” you’ll find the nearest McFit at Praterstrasse 62.
STAMPS: Where can I buy stamps and mail my letters?
You can purchase stamps directly at the front desk. Conveniently, there is a mailbox right next to the hotel entrance.

TAXI: What's the best way to get to the airport, or can the hotel call a taxi for me?
We recommend using public transportation, but we’re always happy to call a taxi for you.
Airport transfers can be booked at the front desk for a fixed price, and there is a taxi stand located immediately to the right of the hotel entrance on Praterstraße.
TOOTHBRUSH SET: What should I do if I forget my toothbrush or toothpaste?
Toothbrush sets are available upon request at the front desk.
TOWELS & TOILETRIES: Where can I get extra towels, blankets, or toiletries like a toothbrush set?
If you need additional towels, blankets, pillows, etc., please call the front desk (press 9 on the phone).
Also available: shaving kits, toothbrush sets, and sewing kits, shower caps and washcloths, as well as bath slippers and bathrobes (free of charge).
TIPS: Is a tip already included in the price?
Tips are not included in the prices. Our team would be delighted to receive a tip; you are also welcome to pay this online via SmartTips.
TV: What channels and features does the TV in my room offer?
All of our rooms are equipped with new HD smart TVs for your viewing pleasure.
The TVs include:

* Streaming services such as Netflix, Amazon Prime Video, and YouTube
* 85 radio stations directly on the TV
A channel list sorted by language is available in the “TV & Radio” menu on your TV.

The water from the Vienna High-Mountain Spring Water Pipeline is of the highest drinking quality! We also offer revitalizing Grander water at breakfast!
