Information from A to Z

All areas of our hotel are wheelchair accessible—with the exception of the sauna, the fitness room, and the terrace on the first floor.
We also offer two rooms designed to meet the specific needs of guests with special requirements.

You can obtain a suitable adapter at the front desk for a small deposit.

We would like to inform you that we use two separate systems for heating and cooling.
During the cooler months, the radiator in your room heats the air, and when the outside temperature reaches 25°C, we turn on the air conditioner, which is designed exclusively for cooling.
Please be mindful of the environment and close the window(s) when the air conditioner is running.

We recommend using public transportation to and from the airport.
Due to construction work, the direct S7 rapid transit connection between the airport and Praterstern is currently suspended and is expected to remain unavailable until October 2027.
Alternatively, the Vienna Airport Bus VAB 5 takes you directly from the airport to Praterstern.
From Praterstern, it is only about a 400-metre walk to our hotel.
You can also take the REX7 directly from the airport to Vienna Central Station (Wien Hauptbahnhof) and continue with the U1 underground line to Nestroyplatz station.

Of course, we can also arrange airport transfers at fixed rates.

Your Austria Classic Hotel Wien is centrally located and easily accessible in the heart of Vienna. We recommend traveling in an eco-friendly way by train or bicycle.

Arriving by train: From Vienna Central Station, take the U1 subway line and get off at the “Nestroyplatz” stop after 7 minutes. The hotel is about a 400-meter walk from there.

Arriving by bike: You can safely park your bike in our great bike garage. If you’re riding a manual bike, we’ll give you a free drink as a thank-you for your “green” journey.

Arriving by bus: From the Vienna International Bus Terminal (VIB) in Erdberg, take the U3 to the “Stephansplatz” stop, transfer to the U1 there, and ride to “Nestroyplatz.” From there, it’s a 400-meter walk.

Arriving by car: Enter the address of our entrance, “Czerningasse 29, 1020 Vienna,” into your GPS. You’ll arrive directly at our parking lot and can enter the hotel through the courtyard entrance.

Arriving by plane: Due to construction work, the direct S-Bahn connection from Vienna Airport to “Praterstern” is currently suspended. We recommend taking the Vienna Airport Bus VAB 5, which takes you directly from the airport to Praterstern in approximately 28 minutes. From there, it is just a 400-metre walk to our hotel.
