Visit Prater on 1st of May 2017!
Every year on 1st of May, the “Wiener Prater” – a famous amusement park in Vienna – is celebrating. On this special day, all of the attractions such as bumper cars, roller coasters and stalls like Aunt Sally officially start into the season. And as every year, the owners of the amusement parks establishments will offer reduced entry prices the whole day long.
This event is very popular in Vienna – as the 1st of May is the official national holiday in Austria, many families, teenagers and people of all kind of age category love to spend their day in Prater. So when there is good weather, there will be a lot of people and you may have to wait at the one or other attraction.
Additionally a stage at Kaiserwiese will offer best music all day long at free entry. Starting at 1 p.m. and ending at 10 p.m. with abig firework. Maybe you want to enjoy this view out of a cabin from the famous “Riesenrad” – the impressive Giant Wheel at Wiener Prater?
