Oktoberfest in Vienna - Wiener Wiesn

Within a 5 minute walk starting from our hotel, you can reach the area of „Wiener Wiesn“ – the viennese edition of famous Oktoberfest from Munich. On a big area next to Riesenrad, the Giant Wheel, many festival tents will be built up to guarantee best atmosphere. On 18 days, starting from September 21st to Oktober 8th 2017, in total 700 hours of live music will entertain you in 3 big festival tents as well as 5 party alms. Of course there will also be a lot of beer, brezels and traditional Austrian food.

You can also bring your children, there will be an own programm for the little guests. Every weekend – starting from Friday to Sunday (12.a.m. to 5:30 p.m.) kids can play in an own area, join riddle rallies or paint their faces with kids make up.

To our guests we really recommend to wear some traditional costumes such as Lederhosen and dirndls, buy tickets for “Wiener Wiesn” and have a lot of fun right next to our hotel. The good thing is that you do not have to use any car or public transportation service, because you really just have to pass twot traffic lights and reach the festival area within 5 minutes. So you can also taste one beer or more and don’t have to pay for a taxi. ;)

Several musicians, DJs and also regional music clubs will entertain you with their shows.

Wine, hiking and more at the Wine hills of Vienna

Vienna Wine Hiking Days 2017

If you like wine, we really recommend you to participate at the Vienna Wine Hiking Days from September 30th to Oktober 1st2017, as well as the “Stürmische Tage” on 7th and 8th of Oktober, 2017. Vienna’s wine areas invite to hiking routes of 25 kilometres in total. Of course you also have the possibility to taste regional meals & drinks whilst enjoying the view from Viennas famous wine hills – Bisamberg, Cobenzl, Leopoldsberg and Kahlenberg.

In Stammersdorf, a northern region of Vienna, a famous old alley named “Kellergasse” will open its ports. The alley is located in a traditional wine region and was named after its many wine cellars. On this special weekend the local wine farmers and restaurant owners will present their “Sturm” a sort of unfinished wine that tastes very sweet. Of course there will also be good music and entertainment all over the place.

If you would like to visit one of these events, please contact our team at the reception. Of course we can help you to find those places and spend a good time with your beloved ones.
