Beach Volleyball in Vienna 2017

In total, 48 teams of men and 48 teams of women from all over the world will participate in this tournament. From 28th of July to 6th of August, more than 200 games will be played in a stadium that will be build up just for this special event. As hundred thousands of visitors will be expected during the whole time of the event, the stadium will offer places to a total of more than 10.000 guests. Additionally a big VIP-Area will contain 2.000 more places.

It is confirmed, that the whole festival area will be as big as 16.000 m² - it will also include an own Public Viewing Area, a Party Area as well as an Youth- & Leisure Fair.

In the Fanzone, there will also be a lot of side-events during the breaks of the matches and of course in the nights after the games. You will be entertained by international DJs that will perform on huge stages through the whole night.

The event will take place on Danube Island in the middle of Vienna. You can go their by public traffic very good. But as the organizers will expect a lot of visitors, we recommend to start early to avoid long waiting times.
